First Pop-Up: Melnea Cass Parkway and Harrison Street

ART STOP GALLERY is a pop-up art gallery that appears at random bus stops in the greater Boston area.

Conceived by a local artist, as a way of making contact with people who might enjoy art  …the Art Stop Gallery is a way to let people have a wonderful discovery. The first pop-up was hung on Monday, December 7.

For the artist, the randomness of the contact is also important … who will take one…who will enjoy the gallery…She says that as an artist it is fun to think of that.

The first gallery included four prints by the artist and an oil painting by her grandmother.
